I love this book. It's perfect for a general pediatrician who rounds on babies in a level I and II nursery. It addresses a lot of questions I come across. The cases and explanation are to the point.

This book is a good resource for peds residents in the NICU or NNP in training. As a neonatal fellow there are a lot of things to learn, but some of the cases or to basic.
The Kindle edition is missing some charting and tables which make some questions useless, but I contacted amazon and they informed that a correction will be made.

Very useful and fun to read

Written with electrical engineering samples, this book is useful for anyone doing engineering of any kind. The book captures the practical wisdom of a life-long practitioner, someone who was in the trenches of the engineer's world. I am a software engineer and found much that was useful for me. Chapters like "If I Could See It, I Could Fix It" are very useful. Overall, the author is more concerned with highlighting good questions to ask and how engineers think than providing specific answers, which is why the book is so useful. Asking the right questions is something that is learned over time and much more important than the specific answer in a particular context.

The book is also hilariously funny. The author has a wonderful sense of humor that had me laughing uproariously many times.

Another winner from Jackie Williams

I liked Jackie Williams book Running Scarred and wanted to read another one. I thought this looked interesting so I bought it. This one is good, too. The main character is Caroline, a young woman with a baking business who is going to lose her shop when developers buy up the property where her shop is located. They are building a whole new complex and if she wants to be part of it, she will have to wait a year to reopen her business. When we meet Caroline, she has just been told there is nothing she can do to change what's going to happen and she's devastated. As she is sitting in the parking lot in her mini, Adam Cavendish, the developer and all around hunk, knocks on her window to ask if she's leaving so he can have her spot. Caroline is a mess with mascara raccoon eyes and her hair disheveled. She is embarrassed, when she finds out who he is, angry, but she can't help noticing how big he is and how good-looking Her next encounter with Adam is when she goes to a nightclub and he's there. When two bad guys drug her drink and try to assault her, Adam comes to the rescue and since he doesn't know where she lives, she takes her home. They are wildly attracted to each other, but Caroline can't get past the fact that it is his fault she's losing her business, a dream she's had all her life, but eventually she falls for him and they have one night of unbelievable passion. Will they stay together? Will Caroline lose her business, or will she find another way to fulfill her dream? I won't give away any spoilers. Delicious Desires is a contemporary romance. For me it had the old-fashioned feel of a fifties movie where misunderstandings abound, only with enough sex to satisfy a modern audience. I loved those old movies and I really enjoyed this book.

A mouth watering romance that I can truly recommend. Caroline has a brilliant little money maker on the sea front, an emporium to tickle your tastebuds, cakes to die for and chocolate delights to dream about and she's just about to be evicted! Who can come to her rescue - who wants to save her - will she let herself be rescued? Can Adam succeed or will she deny him her tantalising confections. After being drugged at a nightclub and enduring the lashing waves having been cut off by the tide can Adam reach out to her or is it just too late? Ms Williams keeps up a cracking pace with some surprising revelations that will have you transfixed. I enjoyed this tale so much and chomped through a whole box of champagne truffles whilst curled on the sofa. A complete change from the high octane adventure story Tinted Lenses so a warm cosy read that's a real page turner....
